How Express Pay Works
Express Pay integrates with Parkezi’s ANPR parking system to recognise vehicles on entry and exit.
When a vehicle enters your car park:
- The number plate is captured automatically
- The user’s parking session has started
- The boom gate opens for them to enter
Before returning to their vehicle, drivers can pay by either:
- Using the on-foot pay station (Step & Pay)
- Scanning a QR code and paying via our app-less Parkezi Pay system
Drivers can also complete payment instantly using contactless tap-and-go at the exit terminal. Once payment is confirmed, exit is seamless.

Does Express Pay support contactless payments?

Does Express Pay require servicing?
Maintenance requirements are minimal. With no moving mechanical parts, wear and tear is significantly reduced compared to traditional ticketing systems.
General inspections are recommended to ensure optimal performance. The enclosure includes three intake cooling fans to regulate internal temperature in all weather conditions. The air filter should be cleaned or replaced annually as part of routine maintenance.
